POOLS IN LAMONT
What Lamont pools are up against.
Like the rest of the valley floor, Lamont pools deal with hard water, high summer heat and wind-blown dust. Calcium coats the tile and builds up in heaters and equipment. Summer heat means pumps run long hours and chlorine disappears quickly. Over a few years, pool water collects minerals and stabilizer until it no longer responds well to chemicals. That's when a water change makes more sense than adding more product.
Cal Valley Pool & Spa is owner-operated by Brandon out of Bakersfield, and we’ve been in business around four years. The same tech who cleans your pool also fixes the equipment, so you deal with one person from the first call to the finished job.
WHAT WE DO IN LAMONT
One-time pool services in Lamont.
Tile cleaning & bead blasting
Hard water leaves calcium along the waterline. We bead blast it off the tile, which takes off scale the scrub brush can't and leaves the tile clean. More about tile cleaning ↗
Pool equipment repair
We work mostly on Pentair equipment: pumps, filters, heaters and automation. For pump replacements we install variable-speed pumps only. They run quieter and use less power than old single-speed pumps. More about pool repair ↗
Drain & clean / water change
A drain-and-clean is often the most useful job we do in older valley pools. We drain the pool, clean the surface and refill with fresh water so the chemistry is easier to manage. We time it so the plaster isn't left empty in the hottest part of the day. More about water changes ↗
Green pool cleanup
Green, cloudy or swampy, we bring it back to clear, blue water. We find out why it turned (often a failed pump, a dirty filter or chlorine burned off by the heat) so it doesn’t happen again. More about green pool cleanup ↗
