POOLS IN MCFARLAND
What McFarland pools are up against.
McFarland pools face the usual valley problems: hard water, long hot summers and dust blowing in from the surrounding farmland. The pump does most of the work in a pool, and in this heat it runs long hours for months. Older single-speed pumps use a lot of power and wear out. Calcium scale builds on the tile and in the equipment, and dust clogs filters. When something fails in summer, the water can turn quickly.
Cal Valley Pool & Spa is owner-operated by Brandon out of Bakersfield, and we’ve been in business around four years. The same tech who cleans your pool also fixes the equipment, so you deal with one person from the first call to the finished job.
WHAT WE DO IN MCFARLAND
One-time pool services in McFarland.
Tile cleaning & bead blasting
Hard-water scale leaves a white band on the waterline tile. We bead blast it off, which takes off calcium that scrubbing and household cleaners won't touch. More about tile cleaning ↗
Pool equipment repair
We work mostly on Pentair equipment: pumps, filters, heaters and automation. For pump replacements we install variable-speed pumps only. They run quieter and use less power than old single-speed pumps. More about pool repair ↗
Drain & clean / water change
When the water is old and loaded with minerals or stabilizer, a drain-and-clean gives you a fresh start. With the pool empty, it's also a good time to clean the tile and surface. More about water changes ↗
Green pool cleanup
Green, cloudy or swampy, we bring it back to clear, blue water. We find out why it turned (often a failed pump, a dirty filter or chlorine burned off by the heat) so it doesn’t happen again. More about green pool cleanup ↗
