POOLS IN OILDALE
What Oildale pools are up against.
Oildale pools deal with the same hard water, heat and dust as the rest of Bakersfield. Many homes here are older, and so is a lot of the pool equipment, which means worn pumps, tired filters and plumbing that has been through many summers. Calcium builds up on tile and inside equipment, summer heat burns off chlorine, and wind carries dust into the water. When older equipment finally fails in the heat, a pool can go green quickly.
Cal Valley Pool & Spa is owner-operated by Brandon out of Bakersfield, and we’ve been in business around four years. The same tech who cleans your pool also fixes the equipment, so you deal with one person from the first call to the finished job.
WHAT WE DO IN OILDALE
One-time pool services in Oildale.
Tile cleaning & bead blasting
Years of hard water leave a thick calcium line on the tile. We bead blast it off so the waterline is clean again, and it's often the fastest way to make an older pool look better. More about tile cleaning ↗
Pool equipment repair
We work mostly on Pentair equipment: pumps, filters, heaters and automation. For pump replacements we install variable-speed pumps only. They run quieter and use less power than old single-speed pumps. More about pool repair ↗
Drain & clean / water change
Water that has been in an older pool for years can be full of minerals and stabilizer. A drain-and-clean resets it, and with the pool empty we can check the surface and clean the tile. More about water changes ↗
Green pool cleanup
Green, cloudy or swampy, we bring it back to clear, blue water. We find out why it turned (often a failed pump, a dirty filter or chlorine burned off by the heat) so it doesn’t happen again. More about green pool cleanup ↗
