POOLS IN WASCO
What Wasco pools are up against.
Wasco pools get the full Central Valley summer: long stretches of heat, hard water and wind that blows dust and debris in off the fields. Calcium builds up on the tile and inside the equipment. Dust clouds the water and clogs filters. Heat burns off chlorine and helps algae grow. Put together, a Wasco pool can go from fine to cloudy to green faster than most people expect, especially when equipment is running poorly.
Cal Valley Pool & Spa is owner-operated by Brandon out of Bakersfield, and we’ve been in business around four years. The same tech who cleans your pool also fixes the equipment, so you deal with one person from the first call to the finished job.
WHAT WE DO IN WASCO
One-time pool services in Wasco.
Tile cleaning & bead blasting
Hard water leaves calcium on the waterline tile that scrubbing won't remove. We bead blast the scale off so the tile is clean again. It's one of the most noticeable improvements you can make to a pool. More about tile cleaning ↗
Pool equipment repair
We work mostly on Pentair equipment: pumps, filters, heaters and automation. For pump replacements we install variable-speed pumps only. They run quieter and use less power than old single-speed pumps. More about pool repair ↗
Drain & clean / water change
If your water has been in the pool for years, it may be holding so many minerals and so much stabilizer that balancing it is a losing battle. A drain-and-clean or water change gives you fresh water to start over with. More about water changes ↗
Green pool cleanup
Green, cloudy or swampy, we bring it back to clear, blue water. We find out why it turned (often a failed pump, a dirty filter or chlorine burned off by the heat) so it doesn’t happen again. More about green pool cleanup ↗
